 Noordeljk Open Meppel 2015 1The first Dutch ranking tournament of 2015. Ruben's first time participation in the main draw.  Privé trainingenBesides the group lessons with the Dutch Junior selection, Ruben started private tennis practices provided by former coach of the Dutch Wheelchair Tennis Selection, Marc Kalkman. |  Paralympic Talent Camp 2015Ruben is geselecteerd om in de mei vakantie deel te nemen aan het Paralympic Talent Camp dat door het NOC-NSF en ABN AMRO werd georganiseerd. Aan het eind van de trainingsweek werd Ruben gekozen tot talent van de week. |  WTC 2015 - 1Together with 2 fellow Dutch juniors, Ruben participated in the World Team Cup Tournament held in Antalya, Turkey. A succesful week. |

 WTC 2015 - 2With coach Robin Ammerlaan at their side, the boys werd won match after match. In the finals they met team USA, and after a tough battle finally lost the match. A well deserved silver medal. |  Welzorg Wheelchair Challenger 2015-1Ruben's first appearance in an ITF tournament. In the men's single, Ruben reached the second round in which he lost from his double partner Carlos Anker, but not after an unexpected tough battle. |  Welzorg Wheelchair Challenger 2015-2Teaming up with Carlos Anker was succesful.The team reached the finals and even became the winners of the tournament. A good start of more tournaments to come later that year. |

 Belgian Open 3In the men's double together with Carlos Anker again playing against Maikel who temed up with Alfie Hewett. Lost the match, but played very well with even some games won. |  Belgian Open 4Competing in the junior tournament was a lot easier.  Afsluiting toernooien BelgiëUncle Mark traveled with me during the tournaments in Westende and the Belgian Open. Without his support I could not have done this. After two wins in junior tournaments it was time to finalize the trip with a good steak for dinner. |  Record4Rio promoRuben, Jiske, Maikel and Diede will try to beat an old record. 26 hours of continuously playing wheelchair tennis to raise funding for Fonds Gehandicaptensport. A part of the raised money will be to support their journey realizing their Paralympic dreams. |  Record4Rio resultaatAn amazing result. After 26 hours of wheelchair tennis Ruben, Jiske, Diede and Maikel present the intermediate result of the sponsor action. |

Junior Champion during the Dutch Championships held in Rotterdam. |  Huldiging bij Tennis SolutionSix Dutch Champions train with Tennis Solution in Zevenaar. Time to party. During a demonstration tournament the champions were presented to the public. |
